About the role: we At Presenthave a great chance for an practiced winemaker to join our team. As an integral part of the winery team and reporting to the Chief Winemaker, the Winemaker position is a hands-on role co-ordinating and supervising cellar staff and ensuring day to day winemaking requirements are met whilst adhering to all quality, efficiency and safety standards. The prosperous candidate will have opportunities for professional development and career growth. Job Requirements Key role requirements are: ? A degree in Oenology or equivalent (or studying towards it) ? Winemaking practice in a medium or large winery (a minimum of 3 years preferred) ? Previous practice with quality management systems ? A good knowledge of winery management software ? Be passionate about wine quality ? Effective planning, organising and time management expertise ? exceptional written and verbal communication expertise ? Strong attention to detail and problem solving ? Proven capability to work as part of a team and to mentor/supervise cellar staff ? Current Drivers Licence ? WH&S knowledge ? Capacity to work extended hours during vintage For the right candidate, we will negotiate an attractive remuneration package including base income (in the range of $80,000 - $120,000 pa), superannuation, on-site house, a fully maintained company vehicle and a generous wine allowance. candidates must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
