As the Vineyard Operations Manager at Byrne, you will hold a key position in superviseing and directly engaging in all facets of vineyard operations, ensuring the cultivation of premium grapes. You will work with a team of dedicated individuals, implement strategic plans, and uphold the required standards of viticulture practices. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic plans for vineyard operations, aligning with overall business objectives.

Manage all aspects of crop management, including planting, pruning, irrigation, and pest control.

Coordinate grape harvest operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to the winery.

Supervise and implement vineyard irrigation requirements.

Lead (along with being hands on), train, and motivate a team of vineyard workers and contractors to achieve operational excellence.

Implement quality control measures to maintain grape quality and consistency.

supervise maintenance and operation of vineyard equipment, ensuring relicapability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards related to environmental, labour, and food safety.

Foster collaboration with other colleagues and partners, including winemaking, marketing, and sales.

Co-ordinate and maintain, along with present the property including conservation, plant and equipment.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in viticulture, agriculture, or related field (preferred) but not required.
Drivers Licence required.

Proven practice in vineyard management.

Strong leadership abilities, communication, and interpersonal expertise.

expertise of viticulture practices, grape varieties, and vineyard management techniques.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and significant software applications.

capability to work independently and make decisions.

availability to work extended hours and weekends during peak harvest season.

Chemical Accreditation

Preferred but not required forklift and truck licence, along with First Aid Certificates.
