This is a once in a career chance to build a legacy, setting industry benchmarks for quality, sustainable viticulture and land management. The Voyager Estate vineyard is part of a dynamic agribusiness, incorporating holistic farming practices to sustain the quality and purity of the site. The Head Viticulturist will manage the 102 Ha organically certified vineyard, advancing sustaincapability objectives and driving wine quality through innovation and continual increasement strategies. Reporting to the Chief Winemaker, this is a role for a hands-on leader that will be responsible for all vineyard operations, including financials, viticultural plans and staff. Job Requirements ? Tertiary qualification in viticulture, applied science, agriculture science or equivalent discipline ? At least 10 years significant practice in high-end viticulture and vineyard management ? practice with sustainable and/or organic farming practices preferred ? broad technical expertise and agribusiness management practice ? practice in change management and business development ? Strong leadership abilities expertise and management strategies ? Business and financial acumen ? Inquisitive and a proactive problem-solver ? Highly developed organisation and communication expertise ? Capacity for light domestic travel ?
