Rockcliffe Winery seeks to appoint a self-motivated, well organised person with a quality?focused and mature approach to fill the position of Junior Winemaker in Denmark, WA. This is a great chance for a junior winemaker to practice employment in a winery of premium fruit, and to assist with winemaking, cellar work, lab work, winery logistics and sales. Job Requirements The prosperous applicant ideally will an effective team player, have practice working in a winery including formal qualifications and proven practice, and be passionate about wine, possess leadership abilities expertise and be able to work efficiently within a small but tight knit team. The candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in oenology and have previous winemaking practice. The role will provide significant development chance for the prosperous applicant. The prosperous candidate will demonstrate strong competency in all areas of winery operations including; ? Implementation of all winemaking tasks ? Delivering the finest quality wine reflecting the attributes of each variety and style ? Working with management to achieve production goals ? capability to prioritise tasks to achieve objectives that maximise productivity and efficiency ? capability in supervising staff ? exceptional communication expertise, self motivation and an effective team player ? The candidiate is preferred to have Vintrace practice but this is not essential. A remuneration package commensurate with the prosperous candidates qualifications and practice, will be offered. candidates must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
