Mitchelton Winery is seeking an practiced Cellar Hand to join our dedicated team. If you have a keen eye for detail and are looking to expand your expertise and practice, this is a fantastic chance. We are focussing on small batch, premium wines and work with over 12 varieties of both red and white wine grapes. Our fruit is predominately sourced from our Estate Vineyard with small parcels from other Victorian regions. As a Cellar Hand, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our wines with input into all aspects of the winemaking from grape to bottle. Job Requirements tasks include, but are not limited to; - Wine transfer, racking & blending - Barrel work - Wine maintenance - Cellar Sanitation - Operation of facility equipment - Forklift operation - Grape processing during vintage We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn. At least two harvests of previous practice in a cellar or winery environment is required.
