If you have a passion for precision machining, technical excellence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, we want to hear from you! A great relocation package is on offer and its paying $39 - $42 (neg) per hour plus 11% super, tool allowance, overtime at penalties and flexible start times with 4 x 8 hour days and 6 hours on a Friday.

Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC Machining/Turning Centres, particularly MAZAK horizontal and vertical milling, and MAZAK 4-axis lathes. Your tasks will include planning machining processes, programming machines, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all machined parts meet stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
   » Plan machining based on engineering drawings
   » Program CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
   » Complete documentation, including Quality Assurance data sheets
   » Maintain and ensure the operational readiness of machining equipment
   » Participate in regular Toolbox Talks
   » Adhere to RME Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Policies and Procedures
Profile
Ideally practice in most of the following:
   » Ideally an engineering, machining or similar trade qualification but not essential
   » Precision machining expertise with a focus on quality in a low-volume, high-value environment
   » Strong organization and time management expertise
   » Positive, 'can-do' attitude
   » Effective written and spoken communication expertise, team player
   » practice in Lean manufacturing or related initiatives
   » Good mechanical aptitude
   » Basic IT competency, including Microsoft Office
   » Proficiency in 3D modeling software, ideally SolidWorks/SolidCAM
   » Current QLD 'C' Class Open Driver's Licence (Required)
Job Offer
Remuneration and Benefits:
   » Competitive hourly rate: $39 - $42 per hour (potentially negotiable higher based on practice)
   » Relocation assistance available and temporary housing
   » 11% superannuation
   » Overtime paid at penalties
   » $20 per week tool allowance
   » Pay review after probation
   » Flexible start times
   » Monday to Thursday: 8-hour days, Friday: 6-hour day
   » 4 weeks annual leave with leave loading
   » Paid parental leave
   » Quarterly BBQs and social events
