About the role: We have a fantastic chance for a Maintenance Leading Hand to join our maintenance team. The team is responsible for maintaining the Company?s assets including winery, distillery and bottling production equipment whilst also managing our environmental obligations. this function would see you leading from the front while undertaking maintenance, repairs and assisting with developing and reporting on safety, quality, food safety and performance in relation to the work of the department. The role is hands on, you will provide technical advice, training, support, supervision and leadership abilities to the maintenance team. Reporting to our Maintenance manager you will assist with everyday work order management and task allocation, projects and developing standard operating procedures, risk assessments and other documentation as required. Job Requirements The prosperous applicant will be goal oriented and possess high levels of energy to drive performance and change. The capability to work within and develop a team, exceptional time management and communication expertise are critical for success in this function. Previous practice in a leading hand or managery role and mechanical / engineering trade qualifications are preferred. practice across a broad range of food processing equipment would be an advantage.
