We're seeking a talented Blender Operator to contribute to their success and grow with them. Reporting to the Production manager, this function will see you apply your skills and expertise to a newly commissioned production line within a state-of-the-art factory situated in Wetherill Park, NSW.

Description
this function is responsible for following detailed instructions to safely produce a variety of chemical products, maintaining absolute attention to detail and quality. Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
   » Prepare plant and equipment according to procedures for blending operations.
   » Blend raw materials into bulk finished products based on manufacturing job cards.
   » Ensure non-conforming blends are quarantined until QC passed.
   » Maintain precise records following QC specifications, test methods, and quality system documentation.
   » Adhere to significant regulations and company policies, especially in handling Dangerous Goods.
   » Accurately document raw material usage and support with cycle counts.
   » Assist in continuous increasement of procedures when necessary.
   » Communicate efficiently with the technical department on chemical and operational issues.
Profile
To be considered for this function you will have:
   » Full and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
   » Previous practice as a compounder/blender in a chemical manufacturing environment.
   » Sound expertise of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), particularly in handling Dangerous Goods.
   » Forklift license (or availability to obtain one).
   » capability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.
   » Strong numeracy skills and report-writing abilities.
   » practice with blending chemicals, particularly in the Dangerous Goods section.
   » Minimum 2 year's practice in blending operations.
   » Capcapability to lift to 25kg.
   » Proficiency in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
