The Senior Accountant is responsible for superviseing the accounting team and operations of the business, ensuring accuracy and providing timely financial information to the team and executives.

Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager - DFR, you will be responsible for ensuring the approach and application of accounting practices of the business are aligned to legislation, regulations and expectations, maintaining integrity of financial data and compliance with group policies.
You will:
   » Ensure financial records are created and maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
   » Create framework to ensure integrity of financial data and compliance with Adecco group policies.
   » Create and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes and related reporting and disclosures to region and group for the business.
   » Lead the continuous increasement and streamlining of accounting processes, ensuring best practice is followed.
   » Lead internal and external audits, maintaining a high level of assurance.
   » Analyse financial reports and statements for discrepancies and any other issues, bringing to the immediate attention of the Head of Finance.
   » Delegate accounting and financial responsibilities appropriately to team, considering level of practice, area of skills and accreditation.
   » Maintain strong knowledge in ASC 606 Revenue Recognition Standards and ASC 842 Lease Accounting.
   » Maintain industry knowledge and appropriate accreditation to ensure exceptional level of support to the business.
   » Lead a high performing team, supporting their continuous development and growth.
   » Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of the business and its stakeholders.
   » Perform/review balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
   » Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
Profile
To be prosperous in this function, you will have previous practice of 5+ years working as a qualified accountant in a large, local or global organization and be a qualified CA or CPA and maintain the accreditation.
Your background will demonstrate:
   » Strong financial reporting knowledge and skills aid your capability to identify and analyze key business drivers
   » Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated practice in using Microsoft Dynamics 365/other Accounting software system
   » practice with data and analytics tools such as Power BI will be advantageous
   » exceptional written and verbal communication skills will assist you in creating strong working relationships across the business
   » Your can-do, positive mindset and inquisitive nature means you are interested in knowledge 'the bigger picture' but also enjoy knowing the detail and doing your research when required.
   » Commercially astute, engaging and a natural builder of relationships, you'll enjoy getting on the front foot, embedding yourself in the business and connecting with stakeholders to achieve business results
   » You're inquisitive and eager to learn. You thrive in a fast-paced environment
   » Attention to detail is a given, with a strong focus on operational excellence and producing quality results
   » Enjoy mentoring and providing guidance to more junior team members, allowing them to build confidence and flourish in an ever-changing environment
