This is an chance to work with an exemplar of organic winemaking and viticulture that produces clean and expressive wines, achieving outstanding consistency in style and quality. With 50 years of practice using science-led innovations and investment in advanced technology, Temple Bruer produces organic, sustainable wines with minimal intervention and additives. The portfolio showcases a diverse selection of varieties and regions, with a focus on fruit purity and quality from their 250 acres of organically certified vineyards in South Australia. Reporting to the Chief Executive agent, this is a hands-on role that will be responsible for all winemaking operations and organic certification requirements. The Winemaker will be a brand advocate, promoting Temple Bruer and sustainable wine production. Job Requirements ? Tertiary qualification in oenology ? significant winemaking practice ? High level of technical knowledge and practice in organic, minimal intervention and/or preservative free winemaking is desirable ? practice with Vintrace, preferred ? knowledge of viticulture and sustainable farming practices preferred ? Science-led approach to innovation ? leadership abilities and people management expertise ? Strong communication expertise ? Attention to detail and operational efficiency ? capability to work autonomously and in a small team ? Valid forklift & driver?s licence ? Physically capable of performing operational tasks ?
