With vineyards in Geelong and Yarra Valley, Pettavel wine is growing steadily. We are pursuing a new member to join our team with new Iconic operation in Yarra Valley and our great vineyard in Geelong. We are pursuing an adjunct Winemaker who may grow into a more senior role. The individual should have passion for wine-making, preferably with good knowledge on vineyard management on the vigneron's level. The candidate should have machinery capabilities for working in the winery. The person also needs to be a team player with a hands-on approach. The role involves extended hours at times, especially during the harvest period. Bachelor's degree in Wine-making, Viticulture would be preferred. Job Requirements - 3 Years of adjunct Winemaker or closely related practice is required. - A strong knowledge of practical and technical aspects of the winemaking process. - Good knowledge, capability and availability to work in the vineyards when required. - Manage logistic and keep dry goods inventories with accurate record keeping. . - Effective communication expertise and habits, support winery operations as required - Responsibility for OH&S compliance and ensuring all work is carried out safely. - Manage winery environment to ensure smooth and safe operations. - capability to work with contractors and team members. - A strong knowledge and capability to uphold quality control and winery sanitation. - Attention to detail, logical thought process and strong work ethic. - Support sales and technical support for sales requirement, including conducting presentation on trade shows. - Involve in new winery increasement and significant design.
