We are a family owned, award winning company known for producing exceptional cool climate wines under labels that include Ninth Island, Pipers Tasmania, Pipers Brook and Kreglinger Sparkling. We are pursuing a suitably practiced Production, Logistics and Safety Manager to join our small but high-performing team. As a key point of contact, both internally and externally, you will be a skilled professional who can manage a busy workload and be able to prioritise tasks with ease and confidence. Responsibilities will include: ? In consultation with Senior Management develop the production plan, including bottling, labelling and disgorging details and co-ordinate and run monthly production meetings. ? Supervision and coordination of production staff including KPI reporting. ? Maintenance of accurate production and stocktake records in the company winery management software. ? In conjunction with suppliers, plan, forecast and take charge of pricing for all dry goods ensuring constant supply and fixed pricing. ? Coordinate freight movements and export shipping to ensure all orders are despatched in a timely manner and in line with budget expectations. ? Accurate record keeping and SOPs for packaging purchasing, pricing, supplier details etc. ? Co-ordination of Workplace Health and Safety Committee. Job Requirements The prosperous candidate must have: ? Previous practice in a manufacturing environment including production planning, purchasing and logistics ? exceptional communication expertise both verbal and written ? Strong planning, organisational and decision-making expertise ? High level of computer literacy ? practice in managing competing priorities in a timely manner income will be negotiated with the preferred candidate and may include the provision of a fuel card.
