An chance awaits an engaging and practiced Sales Executive based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula, and Gippsland area to join our team. The primary responsibility of this function is to progressively nurture and expand key commercial relationships. This includes managing selected retail, on-premise, and hotel outlets, as well as national key accounts, and superviseing relationships with third-party wholesale teams within the state. Your career trajectory thus far should demonstrate proficiency in self-management, strategic planning, and business acumen. Additionally, you should exhibit the capacity to analyse, innovate, leverage, and capitalize on sales opportunities across various accounts and trade channels. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Territory planning and expansion - Meeting budgetary targets - Cultivating and nurturing relationships with existing accounts - Pursuing new business opportunities - Implementing brand and promotional strategies - Executing merchandising initiatives - Managing internal and external stakeholders - Providing personalised and knowledgeable service to customers - Achieving team sales targets - Conducting wine tastings and master classes Job Requirements To excel in this function, you must: - Possess a deep passion for and broad knowledge of wine and varietals - Exhibit strong computer literacy, and administrative expertise - Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities - Showcase a track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships - Display autonomy as well as team collaboration expertise - Uphold a commitment to exemplary customer service - Bring prior sales practice in a business-to-business environment (preferably within the wine/beverage industry) - Hold certification in wine appreciation or education (WSET 3 or 4 preferred) - Offer an established network of customer relationships - Maintain impeccable personal presentation - Be available to work evenings and weekends - Possess a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) - Hold a valid full driving license and own a car This full-time position offers an attractive base income, individual and team-based bonus incentives, and a car allowance.
