First planted and established in 1971, we are undergoing a complete rebuild of our winery, cellar door and tourism facility. We have started refurbishing our 22 acre vineyard, including new irrigation and trellis systems, as well as pulling out non-performing blocks ready to re - plant in the near future. With the large increase in winery processing capacity there is the potential for future vineyard acquisition and development. We require the services of a Vineyard manager to maintain our vineyard and supervise the vineyard refurbishment. Job Requirements The prosperous candidate must : - have the expertise, practice, and capacity to undertake all facets of vineyard management (including vineyard re development) - be a "self starter" and capable of working alone and unsupervised - be prepared to do grounds maintenance/gardening as required - be prepared to work in the winery as required - have the capability to work overtime and flexible hours during the grape harvest and other busy periods - have chemical handling certificate, current drivers licence, and reliable transport - be prepared to obtain forklift licence - enrolment in, or completion of TAFE/tertiary studies in viticulture will be well regarded A remuneration package commensurate with the prosperous candidates qualifications and practice, will be offered. candidates must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid Australian work permit.
