Job Description
An chance to join our small and elite team at Australia?s most awarding sparkling wine label, The House of Arras.

Much like our wines, this function is not your traditional hospitality role. It involves looking after our guests and sharing a premium fine wine cellar door practice with them. You will be guiding them through tastings, delivering our history and winemaking in an informative and approachable manner, and imparting your passion and expertise for all things Tasmania and fine wine.

This position is Casual, and situated at our scenic cellar door in Pipers River, 45 minutes northeast of Launceston, so if you have a valid RSA and enjoy enlightening and guiding people through the world of wine and Tasmania, then we?d love to hear from you. Whilst the position is Casual, there is flexibility across both Part Time and Full Time opportunities, and across Winery and Vineyard roles for the right candidate.

You will report to the Cellar Door Manager and responsibilities include:
- Deliver our cellar door practice in an informative and engaging manner to ensure a premium and seamless customer practice and maximise sales.
- Help identify and recruit new wine club members for elite and international customer segments from our Cellar Door visitation programs.
- Help recruit, liase and deliver bespoke practices to our premium club members.
- Maintain a high standard in presentation, cleanliness and neatness of cellar door and surrounds.
- Represent the company at cellar door, events, workshops and in collaboration within the local businesses and community if required.
- Plan, manage and execute phone sales/events/corporate orders to meet customer expectations and requirements ensuring revenue is maximised.
- Deal with general cellar correspondence and phone and email enquiries
- Process, prepare and dispatch phone/email/online orders and assist with inventory management/stock control
- Assist with opening and closing procedure and cash reconciliation
- Assist Cellar Door Manager as required to conduct new staff inductions and training
- Actively boostthe sale of the company?s wine, products, services and promotional materials in the cellar door.
- Actively boostand suggest additional products to events customers as part of their event or corporate package to increase revenue.
- Supervise and assist at Cellar Door events.
- Help us elevate and deliver our new signature practices, such as our Wine & Wildlife Tour and 40 Years of Tirage Masterclass with National and International audiences.

Job Requirements
Ideally you will:
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit, be open to learning a new way of delivering world class wine practices and a passion for the wine industry.
- Have Premium Hospitality, Event managery background with expertise of wines and wine production, and an capability to guide and host small groups at an elite level.
- Be a team player who can adapt, and deliver on targets through a hands-on approach and positive attitude.
- Have a commitment to excellence and the highest standards in customer service, sales and presentation.
- Have a high level of communication and interpersonal expertise and capability to build strong relationships with our customers and premium club members.
- significant qualifications in wine, tourism and tour-guiding will be highly respected.
- The capability to speak a second language and deliver our signature practices in a second language would be highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and accountcapability with capability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
