With a production focus on the regional strengths of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, we also continue to explore unique expressions of Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz. Our modern production facility processes up to 1800 tonnes from our estate vineyards with a minimalist winemaking philosophy. We are presently seeking a Winery adjunct with a passion for making fantastic wine to join our close-knit team, ideally with some winery work practice. Job Requirements The prosperous applicant will have the capability to execute all cellar operations, or the capability to lgain complex and diligently managed operations. They will be part of a small permanent team and assist with leading a casual vintage team with the quality of Vasse Felix operations under the direction of the Winery manager. It is a hands-on position requiring expertise in every aspect of cellar work, with a particular emphasis on leading by example and ensuring winemaking activities are carried out to the highest standard. Reporting to the Winemaker, We are seeking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person with strong attention to detail to achieve quality results. You will have the capability to work closely with the winemaker team to achieve production goals. During the grape harvest, you will be required to work longer hours on a rotating or fixed shift basis. A sound knowledge of winery equipment and maintenance issues, along with exceptional communication and record keeping expertise are ideal.
