Job Description
Join our dynamic team at an award-winning winery as an adjunct Cellar Door Manager, In this function, you will assist in superviseing everyday operations at our Cellar Door, ensuring an exceptional guest practice. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating wine tastings and tours, handling sales transactions, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service expertise, a passion for wine, and practice in cellar doors or hospitality management. This is an exceptional chance to grow within the industry and contribute to the success of Mandoon Estate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day to day cellar door operations
- Supervise and train staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities
- Manage sales transactions and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate and conduct wine tastings; assisting with hosting tourism groups and providing assistance and leadership abilities at events and other visitor practices (blending workshops, vertical tastings)
- Assist with managing Wine Club, creating a wine club social event calendar, club shipments and new acquisitions
- Lead the Cellar Door team in absence of the Cellar Door Manager, including training on products, taking group and tour bookings, hosting practices, till counts and diary/booking management
- Responding to enquiries, face to face, over the phone and via email
- Actively boostthe sale of our wines and services to contribute to the achievement of sales revenue targets, execute sales promotions and input ideas to implement for sales tactics to increase customer spend
- Keeping our online shop up to date and confirming orders

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous practice in a related field
- Strong expertise and a passion for wine, WSET level 2 preferred
- exceptional communication and interpersonal expertise
- capability to work weekends and public holidays
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management
