Mountadam is seeking an practiced, hands on Winemaker to join our small team. Working alongside the Winemaker you will have the chance to work across our 147 hectare of estate vines through to bottle. Tasks include ? Shared responsibility and management with the winemaker on all winemaking decisions and day to day operations ? Key role in quality control within wine specifications ? Cellar work ? racking, blending, barrel work etc. ? Vintage operations ? planning, yeasting, crushing, pressing, pumping over ? Lab work ? Supply technical information for winery records Remuneration & Benefits ? Work in a small team with emphasis on professional growth and development ? Working and managing all elements of the winemaking process ? Vineyard to bottling Job Requirements Requirements ? At least 4 years as an adjunct Winemaker or Winemaker role - Remuneration appropriate to skill and practice will be negotiated. ? Degree in Oenology or equivalent/significant winemaking qualifications ? A passion and knowledge of vineyards and wine ? capability to work autonomously and in a small team ? Strong communication with all members of the team ? A good attitude, strong work ethic, willing to get your hands dirty, attention to detail and organisation ? Australian drivers license ?
