There is chance for growth in career within the business. The role is multifaceted and will partly be tailored to the prosperous candidate but includes tractor operation, spraying, slashing, harvesting, management of pest/disease and working with and helping to supervise our contract labour team in canopy management and pruning. The role presents a great chance for a passionate individual to help lead a critical part of our business to achieve the goal of producing exceptional wines. About Forest Hill Vineyard Established in 1965, Forest Hill Vineyard is WA?s oldest cool climate vineyard. There are ~40ha under vine including old dry grown blocks and younger plantings to new clones and varieties. We have been farming organically since 2022 and with the goal of certification. We are a family owned and operated working winery made up of a small, driven and committed group of people who are passionate about growing and producing great wines from our vineyard. Job Requirements At least 3+ years in a similar role or significant practice. A strong background of machinery operation including tractors Attention to detail, logical thought process and strong work ethic. Drive innovation, identify growth opportunities and seek continuous increasement Self motivated and enjoys working within a team environment. Values a safe working environment and adheres to company health and safety policies. Record keeping, compliance and basic report writing expertise. Intermediate Microsoft Office expertise. Financial budgeting and reporting are not essential expertise but desirable Valid vehicle license. Truck and forklift desirable.
