Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, this function is an integral part of a small Vineyard team, our viticulture focus is on producing premium cool climate grapes. Job Requirements We are pursuing A skilled operator to operate our Pellenc Optimum XL60 self-propelled sprayer and harvester across our 40ha of vineyards and external clients across northern Tasmania. Ideally, you will be A team-orientated person, who communicates well, keeps a tidy workstation, and has thorough record keeping expertise. The ideal candidate will have practice operating and maintaining tractors and vineyard attachments including fungicide units, harvesters, under vine Herbicide sprayers, trimmers, cultivators, mulchers, and netting machines. Irrigation and trellis repair expertise are advantageous. availability to lead and supervise teams during seasonal tasks. All About You ? You will have broad practice in the agriculture, grape growing and wine industry ? A current driver?s license is a requirement ? Strong mechanical expertise is highly respected ? You will have practice in a wide variety of tasks in and around a vineyard ? Chem-cert or availability to complete ? You are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable with exceptional organization and communication expertise ? You are hardworking, proactive and work well in a small team environment ? You have the capability to work autonomously. ? You have a passion for the wine industry ? Forklift licence or willing to obtain ? availability to work weekends and overtime depending on seasonal requirements.
