An chance to join our team has opened up for a Vineyard Operator. Key responsibilities will include: ? Carry out vineyard works on Cape Jaffa vineyards as required ? Ensure all work performed is compliant with OH &S regulations and other regulatory requirements ? Ensure all work is performed to company standard operating procedures ? Undertake general tractor and vineyard equipment operation ? Ensure all plant and equipment is kept secure and appropriately maintained ? Manage properties in conformity with best viticultural practice ? Engage control and supervise contractors as appropriate ? Undertake vine work including pruning, training, reworking, planting ? Undertake trellis work including installation, repairs, and maintenance ? Undertake irrigation work including scheduling, installation, repairs, and maintenance ? Monitor irrigation programs and scheduling set by viticulturalist ? General vineyard and grounds tasks as required ? Ensure workshop is kept in a clean and safe condition ? Other tasks as requested Job Requirements To be considered for the role, key requirements include: ? Minimum 5 years? practice in connected areas ? Highly developed organizational expertise ?
