About the job: We are pursuing a highly motivated and capable Vineyard Leading Hand to be part of our vineyard team in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will be a key member of the vineyard operations team, providing guidance and advice on the planning and maintenance of the vineyard management. You will carry out our disease and weed control programs, conduct irrigation activities, maintain and operate all plant equipment, planting and vine development activities including re-planting and re-trellising. You will also participate in harvesting during vintage. The role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in viticulture and enjoys working outdoors. Job Requirements About you: You have the expertise and practice to play a significant role in ensuring optimum production of premium quality wine grapes from our managed vineyards, within approved operating budget expenditure. You are responsible and maintain a high level of integrity in your work. With fantastic communication and initiative, you are excited to work closely with the management team to achieve operational requirements to the highest standard. A current chemical certificate, truck and fork lift license is required. This is an exceptional work environment, varied and interesting, with the best teams in the business.
