The position requires a diverse range of expertise across the vineyard, ranging from pruning and training vines, operating machinery, irrigation and superviseing the workforce tending to the vines. tasks include: ? Participate in the development of a new vineyard. ? Canopy management and general vine care. ? Weed management including spot spraying. ? Maintenance and operation of advanced irrigation systems. ? Machinery Operation. ? Supervising staff during the vintage. Job Requirements The prosperous candidate will be a ?hands on?, practical and practiced machinery operator. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to take ownership and demonstrate a commitment to following structured work programs, undertake minor repairs and look after the equipment required to complete vineyard tasks whilst ensuring environmental and health and safety standards are maintained.
